Suddenly, he is lost and all alone.\u003cbr\u003eKoda meets another dog named Bella and he is intrigued by her. Her owner is a scary man. Bella’s owner is horrible to her, so she runs away with Koda. They go on a quest to find food and they stumble into trouble with a pack of stray dogs. They run away from the dogs and take refuge under a bridge as it starts to rain heavily. There is a river that flows near the bridge. Koda hears a scream and sees a hand waving in the water. There is a little boy in the river, drowning. Koda and Bella save the child by pulling him out of the river.
