Return to Camdeboo

This is not a cookery book, although recipes are included. It is a book about food. My family thought it was a marvellous idea and soon I was collecting not only recipes, but thinking back to their history and associations, and the triumphs and hardships that had accompanied them. It was a rich haul, and I decided then and there to add these to the recipes, so that - in a poor benighted fast-food-world - they, grandchildren and great grand-ones, would know what, on Cranemere, it had all been about!
