Lucinda, a film editor working in Cape Town, has been abruptly left by her husband Amir. An academic architect, he is ostensibly away on a research visit but his disappearance is underpinned by their marital disharmony. Following a brutal knife attack in her bedroom, Lucinda is on edge. As tensions build, Lucinda makes a discovery that shocks her deeply.
