Lelani Ncube is thrilled when she finds a job at Moyo Stores in the village of Mambale, close to Plumtree, only to discover it’s thanks to her ex-boyfriend who put in a good word for her.

It’s not long before Lelani and Seven rekindle their high-school romance, despite them both dating other people: Nyaladzi is on the verge of proposing to Lelani, and Seven is seeing Lelani’s sister, Lethu. When Nyaladzi discovers the two lovers, things become very complicated and Lelani decides to seek the Healer’s advice. But she’s not the only one to consult the Healer . . .
