Pewter Art

Elize Roodt from the Pewter Academy shares her lifelong experience and passion for pewter with this book.
She believes that every student gives something of themselves and so broadens the creative approach to this art form, which is also the purpose of this book.
Pewter Art focuses on materials, techniques and styles generally used in this art form, but also introduces a new technique, namely gilding, to add a new dimension to projects.
As a bonus, a list of all the great South African pewter artists with their artworks are added, for extra inspiration. The aim of the book is to inspire and not to compile canned step by step projects. The user can use the techniques and inspiration to create unique pewter artworks.
