Lulu Bell and the Fairie Penguin

The series is aimed at younger readers of 6 to 9.
Lulu Bell is a fun-loving, sometimes bossy eight-year-old girl - the practical one in a slightly zany family. Her sister, Rosie, is six and loves to wear angel wings and sparkly shoes. Her brother of three likes to wear his superhero suit, even in the bath.
Lulu's mum is an artist and her dad a busy vet. Their home is right behind the vet hospital, so Lulu helps her dad care for injured and orphaned animals. No wonder they have lots of pets.
It's a hot day and the Bell family is going for a swim when a runaway dog suddenly starts to chase a little penguin that is waddling up the beach. The penguin is hurt and Lulu summons her dad to come and make the penguin feel better.
But Lulu has more to worry about. She cannot find Pickles, the cat, who's about to have her kittens.
