ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hans Wegelin received his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pretoria University in 1964. He joined F A and J T Kemp in Pretoria under the style of Kemp Kemp & Wegelin, subsequently Kemp Wegelin & Partners and finally KWP Architects and Landscape Architects. He lectured at Pretoria University from 1970 to 2005, being promoted to Associate Professor. He published more than thirty articles on construction in Architecture SA and SA Architect, a specifications guide for Architects, an illustrated list of builders' tools, and construction notes for students in Architecture.
