THE GRADE 2 PACKAGE
- has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) Grade R-3
- introduces reading and writing of the First Additional Language - learners are now fluent in their Home Language and read and
write to a certain extent in the First Additional Language
- ensures further progression - learning activities are aimed at skills development and broadening the Learners life experience
- provides a graded reading lesson for each day in both Home Language and First Additional Language Learners books
- gives vocabulary lists in Afrikaans and English
- is used countrywide in all schools as well as tertiary institutions for the training of student teachers as well as for in-service training of teachers
- includes a CD which contains a Year Plan, Teaching and Assessment Plans and homework sheets.
