Smart-Kids: Coding And Robotics Workbook

Smart-Kids workbooks have been created especially for South African children. They are written according to the 2021 draft curriculum so they're at exactly the right level for Grade 3 children. The policy sets out what children should be able to do in each school term. We have indicated this in the border of each activity. We've designed the series so that it is easy to use. At the back of the book you'll find notes on each activity as well as the answers. This will help you understand what skill or knowledge strand is being practised on each page. We've also included the knowledge strand within the border of each activity. This will also help you see at a glance what the focus of the activity is. The colourful borders around each activity will help you identify similar kinds of activities. In this book we have used these border colours:

- Robotic skills - marked in green
- Internet and e-communication skills - marked in yellow
- Application skills - marked in orange
