Growing up in the Canadian Rockies, the mountains have always been home for Jenny Tough. Travelling the world, she's always discovered commonalities with mountains - and mountain people. Her major project is to run solo and unsupported across a mountain range on every continent where indigenous mountain people live isolated from the outside, urban world. Running solo and unsupported comes with obvious logistical as well as physical challenges, but running is also a common language - all people around the world do it - and it has always helped build connections across barriers of language and nationality. SOLO is the account of one woman's mission to run solo and unsupported across mountain ranges on six continents - overcoming obstacles, conquering fears and finding the joy in achieving her goals absolutely alone.
