Every message hides a clue. Or a lie.

There is a mystery to be solved in the small town of Lockwood. It all begins with the arrival of two new residents and ends with a tragic death. One person has already been arrested for the crime, but experienced lawyer Roderick Tanner believes the real culprit is still at large.

It falls to Charlotte and Femi, two young law students, to examine the case file: a collection of emails, letters and messages exchanged between members of the Tacadas EnCena theatre group, who came together to raise funds for a child’s medical treatment. Amid this network of goodwill, dark secrets and questionable motives lie hidden between the lines.

An epistolary crime novel unlike any other, the reader receives the same clues as the investigators and must piece them together. A character list helps keep track of the suspects, but one question remains: will you discover the murderer before they do?
