Afrikaans of the Cape Muslims

The underlying goal of Achmat's study - The Afrikaans of the Cape Muslims from 1815 to 1915 was mainly to document the story of Arabic-Afrikaans further, and this time by someone from the Malay Quarter. Therefore, the end result could be described as being a sociohistorical record to evoke a greater awareness of the existence of Cape Muslim Afrikaans as a useful source for broadening our understanding of the linguistic nature of Cape Afrikaans.
